British rapper Fredo, famous for hits such us ‘They Ain’t 100’, ‘Rappin & Trappin’, ‘Like That’ and ‘Pattern Gang’ which blew him up in 2018, launching him into a very successful music career, was arrested back in December of 2023, whilst on a trip to Dubai for Cannabis possession.
Possession of any illegal substance, even cannabis, which still remains illegal to both use and possess in Dubai is taken extremely seriously by their courts and carries a heavy prison sentence.
Many of his fans on social media through that they would go easy on him due to his celebrity status, however this was not the case, seeing Fredo, real name Marvin Bailey slammed with a five year sentence.
If you are planning a trip to Dubai anytime soon whatever you do… Don’t consume cannabis whilst you are there!
